Dear Subscriber,

As we enter the holiday season and year end, I'd like to say thank you.

Thank you for being a member of CGIB,
Thank you for the support you provide for each other,
Thank you for how you shape and improve the industry.

Each year I make a donation on behalf of our members, in lieu of gifts and cards. Once again our donation is being made to  Hands Across the Nations, a charity run entirely by volunteers.

• They work with small rural communities in Africa to provide development assistance. Their motto...  We aren’t saviours, we’re partners.

• Their method is simple. They work with locals to build self reliant communities through project-based initiatives. They partner with community leaders and help communities to ensure the projects are sustainable. They focus on creating lasting change to permanently enhance the overall quality of life and standard of living.

I have been lucky enough to join the group to do some work in The Gambia last year, where I saw the good your contributions do. I hope to get back again, but until then I’ll be support them and hope you might too.

Once again, I will match your donations to HATN to a total of $5,000
To donate, please visit www.hatn.org/donate (and let me know)

We thank you for your continued support. We hope you, and your family have a great holiday season and a safe and happy new year.

Keep doing great things.

Have a great day.

Dave

SETH GODIN'S BLOG -  Eight marketing maxims

  • Trust is worth more than attention.
  • Helping people get to where they seek to go is more effective than hustling people to persuade them to go where you’re going.
  • Choose your customers, choose your future.
  • Tell ten people. If they don’t tell the others, make a better product.
  • Creating the conditions for the word to spread is the job of the marketer.
  • Customer service is free.
  • “You’ll pay a lot but get more than you paid for,” is a useful motto.
  • Act like people are watching. They are.

Put another way...  I don't think I need to add much to this. It just makes sense for benefits or any business. I think #3 should be number #1, but that's just how I've done things and it has paid off... BIG
