Rob began his career with Great West Life and later became an independent Employee Benefits Advisor.

In 1994, He founded The Benefits Trust to provide customized administration services for employee benefits plans. As a Third Party Administrator, The Benefits Trust serves successful small and mid-sized business across Ontario.

Rob now has over 25 years’ experience serving Pension and Employee Benefits to clients across the country. HeI personally meets with 300 brokers a year and often speak to audiences about benefit matters. This includes industry engagements for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada.

Dave Patriarche founded Mainstay Insurance Brokerage in 1996 as a one-person shop specializing in providing employee benefits to small and mid-sized businesses in the Greater Toronto Area.

Dave is a strong believer in continuing education and recognized the need for the group insurance industry to broaden its efforts in this area. In 2003 he started a small networking group, which evolved into regular breakfast meetings across the GTA, then into regular educational seminars beginning in 2009.

Dave is recognized as a leader in the group benefits industry, an accomplished speaker at industry events and a contributor to various industry publications. He mentors and acts as an informal resource to benefit brokers, participates in industry think tank groups as well as panels such as; the Benefits Advisors’ Drug Plan Outlook, the Canadian Leadership Council on Drug Plan Partnerships.

Dave spends his spare time with his family and also enjoys taking groups sailing on Lake Ontario, the Caribbean and Mediterranean seas and has even crossed the Atlantic ocean in 2019.

David Share is the President, Managing Director, and co-founder of Share Lawyers. David’s practice is devoted to disability insurance litigation and he represents disabled clients with compassion and sensitivity.

David has been practicing law since 1985. He is a member of both the Ontario and the New York Bars. David is very well respected within the legal community; he has spoken at many conferences, been interviewed in the media, and is often called upon by his colleagues within the legal profession for his experience and knowledge in his practice area. David served as an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School in the Trial Advocacy Course for 12 years and is an active member of many associations including the Law Society of Ontario, The Advocates’ Society, The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association of Justice. David has extensive experience in settlement negotiation of Disability insurance claims, as well as in mediations, arbitrations and trials. As president and managing director, he oversees the progress of each of the firm’s cases and provides input and seasoned counsel to the firm’s lawyers. Clients can rest assured that David’s experience is at work for them.

David is passionate about music and as a child, he considered a career as a musician. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his grandchildren.

Dr. David Stevenson is a Past-President of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1986 and upon graduation, served four years as a dentist in the Canadian Forces. He then settled in Carleton Place, Ontario where he currently lives and practices. Dr. Stevenson has volunteered at the ODA since 1993, serving on numerous ODA committees and task forces. He also chaired the ODA’s Economics Advisory Committee, which oversees the development of the ODA Suggested Fee Guide and other economic resources. Dr. Stevenson was elected to the ODA Board of Directors in 2011 and in this capacity, has contributed to shared initiatives with the Canadian Dental Association. He currently chairs the ODA’s Pandemic Recovery Working Group. He is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
